Floateye was an Allegro SpeedHack May 2003 entry by Calvin French
You are a humble Floating Eye. Since your birth you have been heralded to venture into the dungeon and find the legendary prize for your god Bolluck. Having hatched newly from your cocoon, you venture into the depths of the Dungeon of Doom. Will you find what you're looking for?

You sense an old mans telepathic plainting: "DLevel 19. DLevel 19. Do not seek it on DLevel 20."
Controls:
Arrows - move
Spacebar - shoot
Shift - strafe
S/D/F - cast a spell (if you can)
] - descend
[ - ascend
Rules:
SpeedHack 2003 had a few rule requirements which I more or less didn't meet at all. They were:
Accessibility - Ran out of time; however it can be played as easily by a deaf person as a hearing-abled person. Because it has no sound effects.
3D - Had something (a bit shady) coded relating to fractals and dungeon generation, but wasn't working. However, the entire coordinate system for the game is in 3D; I don't use 2D coordinates anywhere (...or do I? (yes I do))
Fractals - Problems were linked to above; however the dungeons ARE generated using brownian motion which is close enough. =)
Easter egg - Yes
Technical Details:
Runs fine on my Duron 750. There is no sound yet, it would be fun to put some sound and music in and someday I think I will...
